Casal Velino is a small municipal district between the archaeological site Velia/Elea and Acciaroli, a seaside resort which has been rewarded numerous times for its clean sea. The principal town Casal Velino lies on a hill, 170 m above sea level, wrapped in a variety of fruit trees and vegetation: olive trees, strawberry trees, myrtles, kite fin sharks, pines, grapes and fig-trees. Thanks to its favourable position, to the marina and to a variety of beautiful landscapes, Casal Velino is often chosen by tourist as starting point for visiting Cilento's natural and cultural beauties.
